Matías Soulé’s agent has stated that he would have the possibility of being called up by the Italian national team.
Soulé has been in great form for AS Roma. He has scored three goals and has two assists in six league matches but has not played yet with the Argentina national team. He is not with the Argentina national team in Miami for their two friendly matches against Venezuela and Puerto Rico. Speaking with Corriere dello Sport, here is what his agent Martín Guastadisegno had to say:
“He’s been working really hard for the national team. He’s the only one among the young Argentine players who hasn’t played a single minute yet.
“He’s becoming a leader in an important team like Roma and deserves an opportunity.
“He’s Italian-Argentine and I don’t know what could happen if the situation with Argentina doesn’t change. As of today, everything is open, legally, he would have the possibility of being called up by the Italian national team.”
Very nice comments by San isidro,Scaloni will face a lot of problem by players such montiel and even molina on right and acuna and even Tagliafico on left,an otamendi in the center of defense,even parades and loselso are not in world class

This is obvious. Someone at the AFA is blackballing Soule and Barco. We can be Argentina fans, but to not state the obvious is pure stupidity. We are calling up guys like Acuna instead of Barco? Give me a freaking break. Same with Soule. You are trying out players that have ZERO business being called up. This is the petty shit that ends up costing us championships. You have a world class player in Soule playing at a major club on fire, and we don’t call him up. Absolute bullshit. Instead of all the damn reporters kissing Scaloni’s ass somebody should ask him why he calls up Otamendi instead of Senesi REGULARLY. Why Marcos Acuna who sucks at River gets calls. Why guys like Angel Correa in the fucking Mexican league get looks but Soule doesn’t. I want us to win as much as everyone here, but calling up washed up players instead of trying young studs in form is an absolute joke. DePaul and Messi got blown out two days ago against Chicago 4-0. That’s gonna be 20 percent of our field players? Give me a break. Not saying they shouldn’t be called up, but this is just entitlement. Screw that shit. We need players that are hungry and in form. Soule and Barco are two of those guys. Maybe the best thing for us is to get our head smashed in at the Finalissima so that some of these issues come to light before the WC. I have ZERO interest in seeing Acuna, Otamendi, and a few others ever in the NT uniform again. This stupidity will cost us.

Well Argentina is the best team in the world and such threats dont work.. if Soule wants to play for Italy and fight for world cup qualification, let him do that.
Scaloni and team I think will call Soule, but as of now if Messi plays, then I think only one among Soule, Paz and Masta will go and it seems that the coaching staff likes Masta.. I remember when garnacho played well for Manu, everybody was blasting scaloni for not calling him, then what happened? You cannot win a world cup with all the best players put in your team, you have to select the best group.. I trust in scaloni because I am not an ungrateful idiot like many here.. the team that we have now is not too old based on average age.. I will watch this world cup without any pressure and enjoy to the fullest

Is it hard for Scaloni to call him as replacement to the endless injuries like Almada’s or atleast arrange for simple conversation with him explaining his weird decission?
