Emiliano Martínez has spoke about the 2026 World Cup and the 2022 World Cup.
Martínez commented on how he did at the 2022 World Cup with the Argentina national team and the 2026 World Cup next year. Speaking with DSports, here is what he had to say:
“Physically, I feel great, I’m fine. I feel like I can have a great World Cup. I’m going to feel better in this one, I really think so, I’m going to be better.”
The Argentine also spoke about some of the goals he let in at the 2022 World Cup with Argentina:
“I could have saved some of the goals, two of them against the Netherlands where I could have done more and Mbappé’s second goal too. I could have done a little more with the penalty that went in.”
He also joked about the WhatsApp group with the team:
“The Whatsapp group? I changed my cell phone and they haven’t added me yet… Paredes is the administrator and he’s very busy at Boca right now. He’s being a model now. It’s crazy.”
