West Ham United secured a 2–1 away victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, in a Matchday 22 fixture of the Premier League. The match featured three Argentine players, with Cristian Romero scoring for the hosts, while Valentín Castellanos started for the visitors and Guido Rodríguez came off the bench.
Romero, who was in the starting lineup, scored Tottenham’s goal in the 64th minute. The center back anticipated his marker inside the penalty area and connected with a header after a cross into the box, sending the ball into the net.
Castellanos played from the opening whistle as part of West Ham’s attack. Rodríguez, meanwhile, entered the match in the 79th minute, adding another Argentine presence in the closing stages.
The result extended Tottenham’s run to four consecutive league matches without a win, affecting their position in the standings and their push toward the European qualification places. West Ham, on the other hand, ended a 10-match winless streak in the Premier League with the victory.
After the match, Tottenham sit 14th in the table with 27 points, while West Ham moved to 17 points and remain in 18th place.

Spurs aren’t able to produce any positive results whatsoever! Cuti will missout on champions league if he stays with Spurs. Madrid needs a tough defender and he fits their profile. But I doubt Madrid will come inquiring again.
Licha had a fabulous game against City. He is a fighter and his impact is seen immediately ! If he stays fit then our starting CBs will be him and Cuti.
Cuti Romero should leave Spurs ASAP and join a better club where he’ll challenge for trophies.
After Higuaín, Garnacho has to be the most frustrating and annoying player. He is gifted with speed but cursed with horrible ball control. He couldn’t hit an elephant from one foot away.
He is good player but not good enough for 2026 world cup squad.
