Inter claimed a 1–0 away victory against Udinese on Saturday at the Dacia Arena, with Lautaro Martínez scoring the decisive goal to keep his team alone at the top of the Serie A standings.
The goal came in the 20th minute, when Martínez battled inside the penalty area, held on to possession under pressure, and finished with great composure, guiding a low right-footed shot with the instep into the far corner of the goalkeeper’s net.
With this strike, Martínez reached 11 goals for the season, placing him at the top of the Serie A scoring chart. The goal also carried historical significance, as it moved him into fifth place among Argentine scorers in Serie A history, continuing his steady climb up that all-time list.
Inter’s win lifted them to 49 points after 21 matches, opening a six-point gap over Milan, who have a game in hand and are set to face Lecce on Sunday.
