Boca Juniors and Estudiantes both won in their Copa Libertadores matches against Barcelona SC and Cusco.
The two Argentine clubs were able to get the wins on Tuesday. Boca Juniors hosted Barcelona SC and they made it two wins out of two in the Copa Libertadores with a 3-0 win against Barcelona SC.
With the score at 0-0, Lautaro Blanco crossed the ball to Lautaro Di Lollo who headed the ball and scored to give Boca Juniors the 1-0 lead. The match would stay 1-0 until late in the match.
Lautaro Blanco would get another assist. A cross into the penalty area to Santiago Ascacibar and he would head the ball and score Boca’s second of the match.
At 2-0, it was 36 year old Ander Herrera who would score from outside of the penalty area. That was his first goal for the club.
Estudiantes would also get a 2-1 win against Cusco in their match. With the score at 0-0, it was a cross into the penalty area and the goalkeeper was unable to control the ball which fell to former Inter Miami player Facundo Farías as he scored to give Estudiantes the 1-0 lead.
With Estudiantes leading 1-0, the Argentine Lucas Colitto scored the best goal of the match to draw Cusco level.
At 1-1, the ball fell to Tiago Palacios and he scored from outside of the penalty area to give Estudiantes the 2-1 lead. Minutes later, Lucas Colitto would get red carded for Cusco.
