Emiliano Martínez spoke about winning the Europa League and the World Cup with Argentina.
Martínez started the Europa League final for Aston Villa in their 3-0 win against Freiburg. Speaking to ESPN Argentina after the match, here is what the Argentine had to say:
“Every time I defend Aston Villa’s goal, I defend it with a lot of pride. Today, the trainings that no one saw were brought to fruition.”
The 33 year old also spoke about the Argentina national team:
“Now to think about the World Cup.”
