Emiliano Martínez broke a finger during Aston Villa’s warmup for the Europa League final.
Martínez has stated that he broke a finger warming up before their match against Freiburg. The 33 year old spoke to ESPN Argentina after the match, here is what he had to say:
“I broke a finger in the warmup. Every time I grabbed the ball, it went the other way.”
The Argentine started the match for Aston Villa, winning 3-0 against Freiburg.
It would be highly beneficial if Emi Buendia were selected for the World Cup; it would be quite unjust if he were not chosen by Scaloni.
