Emiliano Martínez does not have a broken finger but a dislocated finger.

Martínez injured his finger during Aston Villa’s warm-up for their Europa League final match against Freiburg. The Argentine stated that he has a broken finger but according to Diario Olé, Martínez has a dislocated finger and there would be no problems for the World Cup.

    🚨 JUST IN: Argentina’s final 26-man squad for the World Cup is expected to be officially announced between May 28 and May 29. Lionel Scaloni will wait until the very last moment before confirming the list.

    • This is a ridiculous decision by the management team. Several leagues have finished (a.o. France, Germany, Belgium) and players want to know if they can go on holiday with their family or need to fly to Argentina for the training camp. From the list of 55, 29 will not go the WC. Tell them so they can enjoy their deserved time off. It is not fair to keep their hopes up. Or narrow the list down to 30 and keep 4 extra players on the list because some starting players are injured (Romero, Molina, Paz etc.)
