Simón Escobar is set to play for the Argentina national team.
Eacobar is expected to get playing minutes with the Argentina national team in the two friendly matches before the World Cup. According to Gastón Edul, the left back will have some minutes in the matches against Honduras and Iceland.
The 16 year old would become the second youngest player to ever play with the Argentina national team with Diwgo Maradona being the youngest player ever.
