  1. Good test for an Inter Milan type of 2 striker setup. Tagliafico and Giay need to play at a much higher level to keep the supply on for Lautaro and Lopez.

  2. Spain draws with Iraq
    Ivory Coast beats France

I know everyone is just practicing … yet

    And
    Algeria beats Netherlands 1-0

Algeria is Argentina’s first group match opponent 🧐

  3. A (3-4-1-2) formation can be tried. Back 3 will be pure CB, as we are weak in fullbacks position. So a 3 man CB give us defensive solidity. Then 4 midfielders can give us match controling advantage. In these 4 man we can use barco on left flank and paz on the right. In 1, we will use the mighty GOAT. At front there will be el toro and spider. Thanks.

  4. @Sabellista nice to see you back posting. You should post more mate. I am sure other people will come up eventually once the tournament start. It is hard nowadays to balance work and family life then find time for yourself to be honest.
Anyway about our squad i would have feel more confident and comfortable if we already decide what are we doing with Molina and Montiel . As far as I know Molina almost ready but Montiel is in doubt like he will get ready but no match experience! This isn’t ideal as we will play some physical and fast opponents. But I believe in Scaloni & Co I am sure they won’t shake to take hard decisions! I didn’t have any expectations with this World Cup however seeing the disrespect from the pundits all over the world and ex players and some fans telling Argentina will have most flopped teams in the World Cup and they might face Spain in second round will be game over. I feel like let’s go again and I’m sure if the players knows and sees this news then they will get fired up too. Yes we don’t have flashy wingers or fullbacks but we have a team. Also RDP and Gio will prove lot of you guys wrong! Mark my word ! About Paz I think he will be okay. Scaloni just taking extra caution WHAT IF! He is getting better and coaching stuff will wait for him as he offers a lot to the team. I think he is the one gonna directly replace Messi or PLAN B!

    • Like wise Brother. It’s always good to reconnect with the Mundo brothers. I hope we have great world cup again. We need all the fit players. I doubt Paredes is fit enough, hence I think Buendia was put on alert.

  5. Scaloni will regret if Gianluca Prestianni is left out of team. He is our second crack after Messi. Who’s to replace Di Maria if not Prestianni or Garnacho.

    • Mate, Prestianni is sanctioned (banned) for 2 matches… he is good but not that great that we can just afford to bench him for 2 matches. Almada is more of a twinkle toe than Prestianni in my view.
