  1. I sense a little bit of hate towards Almada I don’t get it he was great during the qualifiers. He assumed leadership in Messi absence with many man of the match performances. He was a captain in every youth category, he is a number 10 player, beautiful to watch as a player when you love Argentina he is the kind of player that really represent what Argentina is about. Its true he didn’t have a great season but I don’t think it was his fault.if you follow laliga Baena is one of the best player in laliga but at atletico Simeone is killing him.simeone hates number 10s remember all the Argentines and number 10s he ruined.Nico Gaitan,Matias Kranavitter,Lemar, DePaul. I think Almada will have a great world cup if Messi is not fully fit who is going to create a chance for Argentina may be only Nico Paz and Locelso have that ability we need him

    • These are excellent points. Almada’s performance against Honduras was a bit concerning, but if he finds his form like you mention in qualifiers, our team would be even stronger!

  2. Goal scorers this season
    Messi 13 goals, 7 assists
    Enzo 13 goals, 6 assists
    Nico 12 goals, 6 assists
    Julian 20 goals, 6 assists
    Lautaro 22 goals, 6 assists

    Plenty of goals scorers !!

    • Oyyyy Tony. Good to see u again. Ten years almost and standing strong.
We should be fine as long as alvarez is feeling good.

  3. I think out left back problem is resolved with Medina. I watched him yesterday he can be a good substitute for tagliafico.
But our RB have injury problem. I dont know how Scaloni will manage this. Our mf is top class though Paredes is still injured.
Problem is left wing. No top class player in that position and nico is not reliable.

    • That is why we should have brought Buendia. He is both left and right footed and can play in multiple positions.

        • I agree on Buendia. He should have got the call.
But never count out Almada. He is another boy from Apache and will fight hard no matter what he’s tasked to do.

  4. Arg might face Uruguay in Round of 32. Their forward is high pressing and fast as well. Idk what is Scaloni’s plan against them. Molina’s injury is too much concerning. i dont think he would be able to play more than 60-70 mins for us. Without him we don’t have any RB playing at the highest level.

  5. This WC will be hard on all players because of the heat and humidity. Each team will need fit players on the pitch and the bench. It is likely that players coming from the bench will have a bigger impact on the game than before because of the exhausting conditions. Argentina is no exception, we cannot bring players that are not fully fit.

Senesi to replace the injured Balerdi.
Giay and Capaldo to replace injured Molina and Montiel
If possible replace out of form Almada with Aranda (surprise factor)
    And
Bring Buendia for Paredes if the latter can’t make it

    • How did Giay play that day? Never seen him playing . And capaldo ? Although he got just 10 mins .

      • Giay was decent, but nothing spectacular. Against a side like Portugal with their strong left wing (Mendes, Vitinha and Leao) we surely going to need a strong RB. But better bring fit players than injured ones.
