José Manuel López could be leaving Palmeiras in Brazil. According to SportsCenter Brasil, Spartak Moscow have made a bid of around €24 million for the Argentine.

Abbondanzieri, Ayala, Lucho Gonzalez, Mascherano, Burdisso, Crespo were 5-6 players who ended up being starters weren’t there in 2005.

Germany couldn’t do anything against us while played great against Italy in the semi final.
But who made the difference in semi final?
Marcelo Lippi of course after watching us going defensive for no reason he subbed in Del Piero, Gilardino and Iaquinta and attacked them and won.

Don’t expect Cabo Verde to perform like they performed at the WC, it’s a fluke and the reason was that they prepared for the WC and their opponents months before the WC. In reality it is weaker than Tinesia and Nigeria and most of African teams.

Honestly taking the brazil 4-1 result before the wc, draw against Netherlands, hard fought win over ivory coast, mexico and lose against Germany. The 2006 team was rather overrated and never would’ve won that WC anyway.. but I read this forum and most people pretend subbing cambiasso for riquleme was the only fault of this perfect world cup
