Leandro Paredes has commented on Lionel Messi’s retirement from the Argentina national team.
Paredes posted on his Instagram about Lionel Messi retiring. Here is what he had to say:
“I thought I was already prepared for this news but clearly I wasn’t.
“Thank you, for everything you did for me as an Argentine, as a fan of the national team, as a team mate and as a friend!
“Words are not enough when it comes to you, your legacy and your greatness as a player but above all as a person. I am fortunate to have played with you in this beautiful process of our national team, of your national team.
“I love you, little one! May you always be very happy! Our country will always be grateful to you for everything you made us experience!”

I still remember when i witnessed messi playing first time. It was 2014 vs Iran and I was only 11 then. Arg was trying everything to break the deadlock . Suddenly messi shooted outside the box in the stoppage time and scored. The next day i bought his tshirt and watched all the matches of that world cup. Against Germany, I cried with Leo. I saw Leo falling and rising again like my own career. Our 2022 squad and 2021 copa squad , I will always cherish them. I wish i could watch playing messi live once in my life but i failed. Messi there wont be any player like u in the future. U taught me we fall we fight and come back more stronger than before. I have a request to you pls be with football always. Maybe would love to see you as a club owner. Im so lucky that i witnessed u playing and lifting the fifa 2022.
