Worn during Argentina’s unforgettable 1986 FIFA World Cup triumph in Mexico, this jersey is one of the most legendary shirts in football history.
Led by Carlos Bilardo and inspired by the brilliance of Diego Maradona, La Albiceleste captured its second World Cup title after defeating West Germany 3-2 in the final. The tournament also featured two of Maradona’s most famous moments: the “Goal of the Century” and the “Hand of God” against England in the quarterfinals.
The shirt was worn by legends such as Diego Maradona, Jorge Valdano, Jorge Burruchaga, Oscar Ruggeri, José Luis Brown, Sergio Batista, Ricardo Giusti, and Héctor Enrique.
