Franco Mastantuono spoke about the Argentina national team and Lionel Messi.
Mastantuono has played four matches with the Argentina national team and wants to go back to wearing the Argentina national team shirt. Speaking in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, here is what the 19 year old had to say:
“The Argentina national team shirt is the most beautiful of all and I hope to go back to wearing it soon. But for that to happen, I have to work hard, train and play.”
When asked about Lionel Messi’s retirement:
“Messi is unique and is the best of all. Playing alongside him with Argentina was a privilege and it hurts that he had to step aside from the national team.”
