Emiliano Martínez has provided an update following his surgery.
Martínez was substituted out for Chelsea during their Premier League match against Everton after a collision on the pitch. The Argentine left the match on a stretcher and was taken to a hospital.
The 34 year old posted on his Instagram page, a picture of himself at the hospital with the caption:
“Thanks to everyone for the messages, the operation went well. The most important thing is that we won with a clean sheet. We’ll be back in a few weeks.”
