Arturo Vidal has stated that he would give the Ballon d’Or to Lionel Messi.
Vidal and Messi were former team mates at FC Barcelona and with the Ballon d’Or ceremony next week, Vidal was speaking on the KingArturo23Oficial stream on Kick. Here is what he had to say:
“The Ballon d’Or? I would give it to Messi for what he did at the World Cup. I would give first to Lionel Messi, swcond to Lamine Yamal and third to Kylian Mbappé.
“That a 39 year old player makes the difference like Leo did at the World Cup… It will be very difficult. Something lile this will never happen again.”
