Pablo Aimar tests positive for COVID, leaves Argentina national team

Pablo Aimar has tested positive for COVID as he has left the Argentina national team.

The Argentina national team will be travelling to Chile on Wednesday evening and they will be without one of their coaching staff. In order to enter Chile, everyone must present a negative PCR test and one for Argentina returned positive. According to TyC Sports, Aimar is already in isolation.

Aimar was not present in Wednesday morning’s training session and will not be travelling to Chile for Argentina’s World Cup qualifying match.

  1. The way Argentina playing is not either beautiful tiki taka or flow of attack.it’s so boring. They can’t play five consecutive pass to each other.look at spain or germany or france or Belgium. They all have their own tactics.own style of play.but Argentina no men always clueless attack lots of back pass.etc.this wc they are suffering lots more.

    • if you are fan of European team then please go to play with the mighty San marino or Malta or Luxembourg or any other of dozen superpower teams in your continnent and leave us in our peace against the “weak” Chile.
      if you are fan of the yellow bananas can you tell us next time which players you want us to bring to play against your team and which players to don t take them in the squad?
