Lionel Messi and Julián Álvarez have been nominated for the FIFA Best award.

Messi and Álvarez are both nominated for the FIFA Best award with Messi being one of the favorites to win it.

For Messi, he won the FIFA World Cup with Argentina, the World Cup Golden Ball and Ligue 1 with his club PSG. Julián Álvarez has won the FIFA World Cup with Argentina, scoring four goals. He also became the youngest player to score two goals in a FIFA World Cup since Pele in 1958.
