Argentina finish the year first in FIFA rankings

Argentina have finished the year in first place in the FIFA rankings.

The World Cup winners will be ending 2023 as the best team in the world. FIFA announced their latest rankings and they remain unchanged.

Lionel Scaloni’s team are first with France second. England and Belgium are third and fourth with Brazil and Netherlands as fifth and sixth.

In seventh place are Portugal with Spain in eight. Italy are in ninth place and Croatia round up the top 10 in tenth place.
