Lionel MESSI came back in style as he netted a hattrick (his second in two matches in the Champions League this season) in Barcelona’s 4-0 win against Manchester City. Javier MASCHERANO started for Barcelona as a right back while Nicolas OTAMENDI and Pablo ZABALETA started for Manchester City. ZABALETA picked up a knock, Sergio AGUERO came on as a substitute as did Willy CABALLERO who saved a penalty kick.
Angel DI MARIA scored for PSG in their 3-0 win against FC Basel.
Eduardo SALVIO and Franco CERVI scored both goals for Benfica in their 2-0 away win against Dynamo Kyiv.

I am glad to see Mascherano as a left / right back in defense. He did so under Liverpool days, considering his height its wise. I still would play him as the defensive axis in midfield and use offensive wing backs on both flanks, but if not, then id take Masch over Rojo any day, and even over Zaba who is wearing out. Masch is a wall.
