Facundo Medina and Ángel Correa do not make Argentina national team

Facundo Medina and Ángel Correa are the two players which have been cut from the preliminary Argentina national team.

Medina missed Olympique Marseille’s match against Paris FC due to an ankle injury. He was part of the preliminary Argentina national team for the World Cup qyalifying matches against Venezuela and Ecuador but was did not make the final list.

Ángel Correa of Tigres was also part of the preliminary team but did not make the final team. Argentina will ppay Venezuela on September 4 and Lionel Messi has spoken about the match potentially being his last in Argentina.

On September 9, the team will play Ecuador. Here are the names that have been called up for the World Cup qualifying matches:
