Thiago Almada to wear number 10 shirt for Argentina

Thiago Almada is set to wear the number 10 shirt with Argentina against Ecuador.

Lionel Messi stated after Argentina’s 3-0 win against Venezuela that he will not play for Argentina against Ecuador in Tuesday’s World Cup qualifier. According to Cristian Camiño, it will be Almada who will wear the number 10 shirt.

Almada has worn the number 10 at youth level for the Argentina national team.
