Nicolás Tagliafico on Argentina team: “On a scale of 1 to 10, I think we’re at a five”

Nicolás Tagliafico has spoken about the current state of the Argentina national team and the Finalissima match against Spain.

Tagliafico is with the Argentina national team in Spain training for their match against Angola on Friday. The 33 year old has played 33 matches with the Argentina national team, winning the World Cup, a Finalissima and two Copa America trophies. Speaking with Radio La Red, here is what he had to say:

“On a scale of 1 to 10, I think we’re at a five. Not too little, not too much.

“Today they’re a little more angry with us, but we also brought it on ourselves with our arrogance. As world champions, we have to prove ourselves. It’s good to be a little mischievous and earn their respect.”

The Argentine also spoke about the Finalissima match:

“I hope we get through the game against Spain, because they’re one of the best teams. It’s totally unrelated to what might happen in the World Cup; it’s just one game.

“The World Cup is something else, another incentive. Whether we beat Spain or lose to them, it doesn’t matter. But facing them does give you an idea of what level you’re at.”

  1. AFA is kinda bipolar or what? Either we play Angola and then France, one of our direct rivals?

How about playing good team like Morocco, Senegal, Japan?
