Independiente and Union draw 4-4, Newell’s remain winless in the league

Four matches ended in a draw on Tuesday with Newell’s remaining winless in the league.

Independiente and Union drew 4-4, with a goal being scored in injury time for Independiente to get a point. Union took a 3-0 lead with Cristian Tarragona, Brahian Cuello and Mateo Del Blanco all scoring.

Ignacio Pussetto and Gabriel Avalos would score Independiente’s first two before Maizon Rodriguez scored the fourth goal for Union. Avalos would score one more and Juan Manuel Fedorco would score 10 minutes into injury time to get the draw for Independiente.

David Romero would give Tigre the 1-0 lead but Braian Romero scored a penalty for Velez to give them the draw. Sarmieno and Racing Club ended score less with Marco Di Cesare getting red carded for Racing.

Newell’s Old Boys took a 1-0 lead but Augusto Lotti scored to draw Platense level. Walter Mazzanttti scored to give Newell’s the 2-1 lead but the goal was disallowed for an infraction.

Newell’s are on three draws and six losses.
