Valentín Barco has spoken about being with the Argentina national team.
Barco scored his first goal with the Argentina national team in their 5-0 win against Zambia. Speaking to the media after the match, Barco commented on Joaquín Panichelli’s injury and being part of the Argentina national team. Here is what he had to say:
“I live day by day, like I always have. I try to do my best at my club in order to come here. The world champions are here, they are all elite. It is the best national team in the world and it has the most difficult list in the world, logically.
“I am very thankful to the people and my team mates, scoring at home, my first goal with the senior national team is something unique.
“I had everyone sign the jersey for me, that one’s going in the memory book and the collection.”
I was really impressed by Barco in this game. Honestly he could’ve had 1 more goal if he wasn’t being unselfish.
