Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni has stated that Leandro Paredes is going to stay with the team.
Leandro Paredes did not play in both of Argentina’s matches against Honduras and Iceland due to injury. Lionel Scaloni spoke at a press conference after Argentina’s 3-0 win against Iceland where he stated that he will wait before naming Leonardo Balerdi’s replacement. In the same press conference, Scaloni spoke about Leandro Paredes.

“We don’t need to wait for Leandro, he’s doing fine. We are not going to rush him but he’s definitely going to stay with us, no doubt about that.”
