Messi spent one day in Miami after the World Cup final with the Argentina national team and landed in Rosario at around 6:00 am on Tuesday. The 39 year old flew in on a private airplane.

It would be great if Scaloni stayed on, as mmh007 suggested… In my view, he is the best coach in the history of Argentine football (alongside Bilardo) based on the results he has achieved—tactically, mentally, and above all in terms of squad management (the team’s unity speaks for itself)… But if Scaloni were to decide to step down, I would propose Placente; he has proven himself with the youth teams and knows exactly which young players are ready to be brought into the squad.

Argentina team does not just play beautiful football but has a lot of passion and fighting spirit. In Argentina it is not cheating but trickery. They fight till last breadth and brawls are not something new. This is the south american flair, its all raw, that is what i have liked most about it. Few months down the lane world will forget about all this, back to club football and will come back to give their opinions after 4 years. I hope to see the national team in future with motivation, flair and energy again.

Whats is odd injury from Romero and Lisandro. I honestly can’t believe we are this bad. Not able to create a single clear cut and make 3 strings of passes in 90 min.
The game looked so rigged and call me Crazy to believe that but I honestly think there was something wrong. The game was sold and Argentina players were forced to do it.
It was a crazy final. Everything seemed to point to Argentina handing the victory to Spain.
The coordinated effort by various media outlets and social media pages to tarnish Argentina and Messi was massive. In the US, in particular it was massive… same in England, I was in Ethiopia during the last two weeks and I was astonished, how many locals were constantly complaining about Argentinas colonial past… it shows how much the propaganda worked.
On the field, everything was scrutinized, from being labeled as favored to messi being called “fifaboy”… i believe there was a massive intent by the media to create a negative narrative against argentina.
What kill me most, is the way the team played in the final completely fed into that narrative, that Argentina was an undeserving team. I wish we came out swinging. I have no idea what happened in the lockerroom prior to this game, but something was completely off. This was by far the worst performance I have ever seen… even a disorganized sampaolis team managed to put up a fight against france in 2018… this team was completely unrecognizable!
I also think the messi dependency was glaring, in particular in the final. Playing 10 v 11 when we dont have the ball also became extremely difficult against a team like Spain.
Scaloni also ignored the greatest issue leading into the world cup… how to replace di maria (be it individually or collectively) not properly introducing the likes of soule or garnacho was also devastating. Just like he gave certain seinor players (molina, de paul) ample time, he should’ve done the same with the younger players…
I am beyong grateful for everything we got to witness during Scalonis tenure, i dont think it can be duplicated. I hope he continues, but if he declines to extend… i would love the coaching staff to continue. Aimar would be ideal, but he sometimes tends to get a little emotional… A headstrong leader, that is balanced is needed.
I think, even if messi continues… Nico Paz should be given the keys. Just like riquelme embraced Messis inclusion, it is time for messi to return the favor to Paz. The future of the team depends on it.

This is probably the only place where AgentinaPhobia shouldn’t come but I see some of you here bringing it here too so let me give you some context so you can understand. Barco went celebrating like loco because of England GK was celebrating in the face of our fans on that side plus few others did too so Barco went running probably that way so is Cuti celebrating infront of their GK face too bcoz of that also Macca gave a nudge to the gk too after the goal . Now afterwords Bellingham slapped Barco but no press or online or anyone came out and said anything even though one of the biggest English Journalist said it was good he slapped him and it should be more like that but when we give it back apparently we act as unsportsmanlike 😂. So there is a big big campaign going on against Argentina. If they can’t beat they will make us suffer some way else . Since when a team moan about referee before the game to influence the referee. Now I see some of us saying shit to Scaloni like pretty nasty way just a reminder before he came along we were in bottom. Scraping through qualifying,humiliation against Bolivia,Ecuador,Paraguay etc where we lost at home too. Now we qualified like few match before. We dominated the ranking(it’s BS) we became superpower again so much that whole Europe,America had start a campaign to stop play like our way and calling us FIFA favourite to knock us down. I agree. There are major double standards when it comes to us, especially from pathetic sore loser English, French, Spanish media outlets and former English players. You can see their true colours and hate of Argentina. We have made 3 out of the last 4 WC Finals, they’re all so jealous of our talent.
