Exequiel Palacios could be leaving Bayer Leverkusen.
Palacios joined Bayer Leverkusen in 2020 from River Plate and he could be leaving the German club. According to Fabrizio Romano, Premier League club Ipswitch and RB Leipzig are both interested in the Argentine but nothing is close or has been agreed, the negotiations continue.
The Argentine has won the Bundesliga and the DFL Supercup.
I was watching Arsenal play Girona in a friendly just now and was curious as to whether Echeverri would play but saw he wasn’t in the team. Did some research and saw he came off the bench today for City against Inter in friendly instead lol
He scored a panenka and Man City’s only goal in their penalty shoot out loss to Inter Milan today. Their fans are liking it from the looks of things. In terms of his use, he’s shown flashes in between the lines rather than as a pure winger… makes sense given he has a slight build at 20 years old. There are a couple complaints on an occasion where he should have been looking up at the pitch and not at the ground when dribbling and he missed a pass as a result.
Decent base, probably should get another loan, but getting stuck in the merry-go-round of loans as part of City’s Elite Development Squad isn’t ideal conditions for him. He might start next game based off that penalty lol
