Ezequiel Fernández and Facundo Medina both scored their first goals for Bayer Leverkusen in the club’s 4-0 Bundesliga win against Union Berlin on Saturday.
The two Argentina internationals started the match and made an immediate impact. Fernández opened the scoring just one minute into the game, getting forward from midfield and finding the net to give Leverkusen an early lead.
Medina then joined his compatriot on the scoresheet in the 28th minute. The defender scored with a header to make it 2-0, registering his first goal since joining the German club.
