Boca Juniors reached the final of the Copa Sidamericana after a 3-1 win against Vasco da Gama.
Lautaro Di Lollo, Miguel Merentiel and Leandro Paredes all scored for Boca Juniors in their win. With the score at 0-0, Boca Juniors were awarded a corner kick and Di Lollo scored a header to give Boca Juniors the 1-0 lead.
With Boca Juniors leading 1-0, a through ball found Merentiel and he scored Boca’s second goal of the match. Rodríguez would score for Vasco da Gama and draw them level in the tie.
With the score 2-2 in the tie, Leandro Paredes received the ball outside of the penalty area and he scored for Boca. That goal gave Boca Juniors the win.
Boca will play Torque of Uruguay or Atletico Mineiro of Brazil in the Copa Sudamericana final.
We have plentitude of potentiall in the midfield but these four should all be starters: Soule, Paz, Prestianni, Flores. Can’t have them all at once ofc. Still with position switching all they can get deserved minutes with one coming off the bench. BTW Delgado from Boca is possibly another DM material for NT
Flores is good in 1v1, fast and tricky player, but I feel he lacks a killer instinct in front of the goal. He should have scored yesterday against Vasco.
