Giuliano Simeone scored his first official goal for Atlético Madrid in their 2-0 win over Las Palmas on matchday 12 of La Liga, with Nahuel Molina and Rodrigo De Paul each providing an assist.

In the 37th minute, Simeone received a well-timed through ball from Molina on the right side of the pitch, broke into the box, and finished with a low shot across goal with his right foot to give Atlético a 1-0 lead. The 21-year-old Argentine celebrated his first-ever goal for the club with his teammates, while his father and coach, Diego Simeone, watched on, visibly proud of the historic moment.

In the 83rd minute, De Paul, who had come off the bench at halftime, picked up the ball near the center circle and delivered a precise pass to Alexander Sorloth, who sealed the 2-0 victory for Atlético.

Julián Álvarez started the game, and Ángel Correa came on as a substitute in the 64th minute for Diego Simeone’s side.

The November World Cup qualifying match between Argentina and Peru will not be played at El Monumental. According to Gastón Edul, the reason for the change is because El Monumental, which is the home of the Argentina national team, will be hosting the Copa Liberadores final on Nomember 30 and for preparations, the match will be played in Boca’s stadium.

Lionel Scaloni’s team will play Peru on November 19 in their second World Cup qualifying match of November.

Valentín Castellanos scored twice for Lazio in their 5-1 away win against Como on matchday 10 of Serie A.

In the 27th minute, Lazio was awarded a penalty kick after a handball in the box. Castellanos took it and powerfully placed it to the left with his right foot, while the goalkeeper dived the other way, giving his team a 1-0 lead.

With Lazio leading 3-1 and both teams down to 10 men in the 81st minute, Castellanos received a pass as he entered the box, setting up a one-on-one against Como’s goalkeeper. The 26-year-old struck it with the inside of his right foot, placing the ball in the back of the net to score the 4-1 for his team.

The Argentine striker now has seven goals in 12 games this season; five in Serie A and two in the UEFA Europa League.

The young Argentine Nico Paz played the entire match for Como.

Paulo Dybala scored for AS Roma in their 1-0 home win against Torino on matchday 10 of Serie A. In the 20th minute, the 30-year-old Argentine pressed high, intercepted a sloppy pass from a Torino defender, dribbled past the goalkeeper, and shot with his left to give his team the lead.

“La Joya” reached his second goal of the season and gave AS Roma a much-needed win that leaves them in tenth place.

The Argentine players Matías Soulé and Leandro Paredes remained on the bench for the entire game.
