Lisandro Martínez suffered a left knee injury late in Manchester United’s 2-0 home loss to Crystal Palace on Premier League Matchday 24. The Argentine defender was stretchered off in tears, raising concerns for both United and the Argentina national team ahead of March’s World Cup Qualifiers against Uruguay and Brazil.

Olympique Marseille and Atalanta are both interested in Aaron Anselmino of Chelsea.

Aaron Anselmino recently joined Chelsea from Boca Juniors and has interest from clubs across Europe. According to Fabrizio Romano, Olympique Marseille are working on a deal to sign the Argentine with Atalanta also emerging as contenders.

Alcaraz will be returning to the Premier League. Brazilian club Flamengo stated that the 22 year old will join Everton on loan and it would include an obligation to buy “if certain goals are met”.

The Argentine previously played for Southampton.

Valentín Barco set to join RC Strasbourg

Argentine left-back Valentín Barco is set to join French club RC Strasbourg, currently 9th in Ligue 1, on a six-month loan with a €10 million purchase option, according to journalist Gastón Edul.

Barco, 20, is on loan at Sevilla from Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion but has struggled for playing time in La Liga. This move to Strasbourg offers the young defender a fresh opportunity to gain valuable minutes and showcase his talent in a competitive league.
