Nico Paz is set to be called up to the Argentina national team.

Paz will be called up for Argentina for the October World Cup qualifying matches. According to Relevo, the 20 year old will be in the team for the matches against Venezuela and Bolivia.

The Argentina national team will play Venezuela on October 10 and on October 15 will play Bolivia.

Emiliano Martínez has apologized for being suspended for Argentina’s two World Cup qualifying matches.

Martínez will miss Argentina’s two World Cup qualifying matches against Venezuela and Bolivia due to suspension. He is suspended for his gesture with the Copa America trophy.

The goalkeeper took to his social media and posted the following:

“I accept the sanction from FIFA and I apologize if I offended anyone, the moment of celebration is to make many kids smile and not to disrespect anyone. I will support my friends in this FIFA date with the pain of not being able to be there.

“It was never my intention to disrespect anyone, nor did I understand that a gesture well received by people was offensive, but I will try not to offend anyone anymore and just focus on winning titles with Argentina and Aston Villa.”
