Taty Castellanos scored and reached 10 goals in Serie A with Lazio in their 2-0 win against Genoa.

Castellanos got his first goal since February, scoring in their 2-0 win to bring his season tally to 14 goals. With the score at 0-0, the ball fell to the Argentine and from a difficult angle, would take it on the volley and score to give Lazio the 1-0 lead.

The 26 year old missed part of February and all of March due to an injury.

Mateo Pellegrino scored for Parma in their 1-0 win against Juventus.

Pellegrino got his second goal of the season in their 2-0 win. The 23 year old got Parma away from regulation, scoring a header, the only goal in the match.

He recently joined Parma in February from Vélez Sarsfield. Born in Spain, Mateo is the son of Mauricio Pellegrino, the former Argentina national team player.

Nicolás González started the match for Juventus but was substituted out in the second half.

Hernán Barcos scored for Alianza Lima in their 3-2 win against Talleres Córdoba.

Barcos remains the top scorer of this season’s Copa Libertadores tournament with five goals. The 41 year old Argentine scored the third goal for Alianza Lima in their win against the Argentine club.

The Argentine played four matches with the Argentina national team in 2012 under coach Alejandro Sabella.

Alexandro Bernabei scored for Internacional in their 3-3 draw against Nacional in the Copa Libertadores.

Bernabei got his first goal in the Copa Libertadores for Internacional, scoring in their draw. With Nacional leading 3-1, it was a cross into the penalty area which found Bernabei and the Argentine left back would control it and score Internacional’s second goal of the match.

The 24 year old was named as last season’s best left back in the Brazilian league.


Cristian Romero: “I’m missing playing in Spain to compete in all the strong Leagues”

Cristian Romero has spoken about his future, stating that he still has to play in Spain.

Romero has been with Tottenham Hotspur since joining them in 2021 from Atalanta. With the club, he is presently in the semi-finals of the Europa League. Speaking in an interview with LosEdul, Romero spoke about his future. Here is what he had to say:

“We are in the semifinals of the Europa League and I want to finish the season in the best way possible. After that we will see, in my head is always to grow and look for new places to continue growing.

“I’m missing playing in Spain to compete in all the strong Leagues.”
