Valentín Carboni suffered a trauma to his left knee this Wednesday and will be unavailable for the next two World Cup qualifying matches of Argentina.

The Olympique Marseille player joins the following list of players ruled out due to injury for Argentina’s squad in this double matchday: Marcos Acuña, Alejandro Garnacho, Paulo Dybala and Nicolás González. According to Doble Amarilla, there are ongoing talks to possibly have Argentina’s World Cup qualifying match against Venezuela be moved from Thursday to Friday.

The state of Florida is set to be hit with hurricane Milton and the Argentina national team are finding it difficult to travel from Miami to Maturín. Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni spoke at a press conference on Tuesday about the issue.
