The Argentina national team conquered Wembley in a 3-0 win vs. Italy in the Finalissima, two years ago today. The reigning Copa America champions played against the reigning European champions and it was Argentina with the win.

Lionel Messi with a dazzling display, Lautaro Martínez with the opening goal, Ángel Di María with another goal in anothe final and Paulo Dybala closed it all up with a goal as a substitute.

Dybala started for AS Roma in their 5-2 friendly match win against AC Milan in Australia. With AS Roma leading 3-2, Dybala received the ball out on the wing and his left footed effort went through every one and he scored.

The 30 year old is not part of the Argentina national team for the two friendly matches in June and the Copa America team.

The Argentina national team will be flying out to Miami on Saturday for the Copa America.

Argentina will be flying out to Miami on Saturday where they will begin training on Monday. The team will train at Inter Miami’s Chase stadium in Florida and will be based there for their team friendly matches in June.

Lionel Scaloni’s team will play Ecuador on June 9 and will play Guatemala on June 14, both matches in the United States. They will play their first match of the 2024 Copa America on June 20 against Canada.

Lautaro Martínez to renew contract with Inter until 2029

Lautaro Martínez is set to renew his contract with Inter until 2029.

Martínez will be staying at Inter for five more seasons. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Argentine has decided to accept Inter’s contract offer to renew.

The contract would have Lautaro stay at the club until 2029 and earn €9 million a year plus bonuses. Only final details remain.

At 26 years old, Lautaro joined Inter in 2019 from Racing in Argentina. He has won two Serie A titles, two Coppa Italia and three Supercoppa Italiana while also finishing runner up in the Europa League and Champions League.

He finished as the Serie A’s most valuable player and Serie A top scorer this season with 24 goals.

Chelsea don’t want Enzo Fernández to go to the Olympics with Argentina this summer.

Enzo Fernández might not be going to the Olympics. According to Gastón Edul, Chelsea don’t want him to go because they want to count on having him from the beginning of the pre-season.

The club are changing coaches and they want to have Enzo available. They will have one more talk on the weekend and that is where it will be confirmed if he can go or not.

As we reported, Nicolás Otamendi and Julián Álvarez will be going to the Olympics with Argentina and the AFA are working on trying to get Enzo Fernández, Emiliano Martínez and Alejandro Garnacho with the team.
