“I’m fine; people can relax. I’m evolving day by day, and I’m eager for the Copa America to arrive. I’ve already started training on the field; the recovery is advanced, and I hope to be training with the National Team soon.

“I’m very anxious for this Copa America; it will be the first time I play in it.”

Inter are monitoring four Argentine players in South America.

The reigning Serie A champions could become more Argentine. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are scouting Nicolás Valentini, Agustín Giay, Marco Di Cesare and Kevin Zenón.

Nicolás Valentini of Boca Juniors is a 23 year old centre back and he was recently part of the Argentina national team for the April friendly matches. Agustín Giay of San Lorenzo can play on the right side of the pitch, the 20 year old played as right back for the Argentina U23 team and in midfield and on the wing for San Lorenzo.

Marco Di Cesare of Racing is a 20 year old center back and Kevin Zenón is a 22 year old that can play on the left side of the pitch as a midfielder or forward.

Di María started the match for Benfica and when they were awarded a penalty kick, he tried to convince Rafa to take the penalty but Rafa refused. Rafa is leaving Benfica at the end of the season and Di María tried to get him a goal but it was Di María who took the penalty and scored.

Casper Tengstedt was substituted in for Di María in the second half and Di María received a standing ovation as he was leaving the pitch. There have been reports that the Argentine could be leaving Benfica at the end of the season and join Inter Miami.

Romero reached three goals for the season with UD Almería, scoring against Betis after coming off the bench. With Real Betis leading 3-1, it was a low cross into the penalty area which found the Argentine and his initial effort was saved by the goalkeeper but he would score the rebound.

The 19 year old joined UD Almería on loan from AC Milan at the start of the year.
