Francisco Ortega of Olympiacos will be called up to the Argentina national team.

Ortega is set to be called up to the Argentina national team for the first time. According to Gastón Edul, the 24 year old left back will be included in the latest Argentina team by coach Lionel Scaloni.

The Argentine joined Olympiacos from Velez earlier this year. He was previously part of the 2019 U20 World Cup team and the last Olympic team.

Argentina U23 national team coach Javier Mascherano has named his players for their friendly matches in Japan.

Javier Mascherano has named his 20 players for the matches on November 18 and November 22 against Japan. Mascherano has named nine players that are playing in foreign leagues.

Nico Paz of Real Madrid, Lucas Esquivel and Bruno Zapelli of Paranaense, Facundo Buonanotte of Brighton, Carlos Alcaraz of Southampton, Gastón Ávila of Ajax, Luis Vázquez of Anderlecht, Facundo Farías of Inter Miami, Thiago Almada of Atlanta United and Bruno Amione of Hellas Verona are the nine players.

Nico Paz made his Real Madrid debut as he was substituted into their Champions League match against Braga.

Paz became the first Argentine since Ángel Di María to make his debut for Real Madrid as he was brought on as a substitute in their 3-0 win. The 19 year old was brought on in the 77th minute for Federico Valverde.

Carlo Ancelotti brought him on and Paz did not disappoint. According to MadridZone, the Argentine completed four dribbles, which is the most in the match while also making three recoveries and winning five ground duels.

Lautaro Martínez scored for Inter in their 1-0 win vs. RB Salzburg in the Champions League.

Martínez started the match on the bench for Inter but was brought on as a substitute and scored the only goal of the game. Inter were awarded a penalty kick and it was the Argentine who took it and scored to give Inter the 1-0 lead.

That win for Inter also qualifies them to the Round of 16 in the Champions League. The 26 year old has now scored two goals in four Champions League matches this season while scoring 12 goals in 11 Serie A matches.
