River Plate are reportedly in talks to bring Gonzalo Montiel back to the club.
Gonzalo Montiel could be returning to River Plate. According to Germán García Grova, talks have opened between them as Montiel is looking to leave Sevilla to get more minutes.
Montiel has the final decision. The 26 year old left River Plate in 2021 after winning the Copa America with the Argentina national team.
Lionel Messi scored two goals for Inter Miami in their 3-1 win vs. Orlando City in the League Cup.
Messi scored his fourth and fifth goal in three Inter Miami matches in their 3-1 win. It took Messi only seven minutes to score the first goal of the match, a chested volley.

But just like in the first half, Messi would get a goal. Another volley from inside the penalty area would bring to five goals with Inter Miami and joint top scorer in the Leagues Cup.
Federico Redondo was one of the best players on the pitch during the Copa Libertadores match between Argentinos Juniors and Fluminense. The Argentine ended with 86 touches, the most with also having the most interceptions with three.
He won the most duels with seven and had the most recoveries with eleven. The 20 year old continues to be one of the best talents in Argentina.
Manuel Lanzini will be returning to River Plate with club president Jorge Brito confirming it.
Lanzini will be coming back to his childhood club after a 10 year exit. Club president Jorge Brito spoke to ESPN Argentina on Wednesday where he confirmed that he will be returning.
The 30 year old joined Fluminense on loan from River Plate back in 2011 and would leave for Al Jazira in 2014 for two seasons. During his two seasons at the club, he spent one on loan at West Ham United and in 2016 he would join West Ham on a permanent deal.
He would win three trophies with Fluminense and the UEFA Europa Conference League with West Ham last season.
