PSG coach Christophe Galtier has come out and spoken about Lionel Messi.

Christophe Galtier gave a press conference on Friday, speaking about the Best player in the world. Galtier had this to say about Lionel Messi, with quotes courtesy of GFFN.

“Leo has been irreproachable throughout the season in his effort in training. Leo is football. It’s true. I have seen it every day in training, I’ve also seen it in our matches. This year, he has great statistics. It is already much, much better than last season. I think Leo has had a very good season with PSG, but people still expect a lot more from him.”

Galtier also added the following:

“I hear the comments, the criticism, but when you have a season like he has, it’s a big performance for me. Especially in the middle of the season.”

A draw for PSG would be enough for them to clinch the Ligue 1 title.

FC Barcelona have enquired about signing Ángel Di María.

Ángel Di María will very likely not be renewing his contract with Juventus. And according to Matteo Moretto, FC Barcelona have enquired in signing him.

The World Cup winner has several enquiries, not only from the Catalan club but also from his former club Benfica, from Galatasaray and from Arab teams. The 35 year old joined Juventus last summer.

Lionel Messi is also rumored to be going back to Barcelona and should Messi end up rejoining the league winners, Barcelona’s “early interest” could become more concrete.

Lisandro Martínez got a World Cup tattoo with a tribute to Cristian Romero and Nahuel Molina.

Martínez is the latest Argentine to get a tattoo of the World Cup trophy and his has a special tribute. With the AFA crest and the three stars along with the trophy, the Argentine also had himself, Cristian Romero and Nahuel Molina tattooed.

Guido Rodríguez is reportedly an option for FC Barcelona coach Xavi.

Rodríguez of Real Betis is seen as one of the alternatives for the pivot position at FC Barcelona following the exit of Sergio Busquets. According to Gerard Romero, Xavi likes Guido but the FC Barcelona board has doubts about him.

The 29 year old defensive midfielder has been with Betis since 2020 where he has become a starter for the club and won last season’s Copa del Rey trophy.

Lautaro Martínez, Nicolás González score in final as Inter win Coppa Italia

Lautaro Martínez and Nicolás González both scored in the Coppa Italia final as Inter lifted the trophy.

It was Martínez who scored twice after Nicolás González had initially scored first in the final with all three goals being scored by an Argentine. With the score at 0-0 and after only three minutes, Nicolás González scored to give Fiorentina the 1-0 lead.

A ball across the penalty area found Nicolás González and he scored from close range. That was goal number 12 for him this season or 13 if counting Conference League qualifying.

Martínez would draw Inter level as he received the ball inside the penalty area and scored. That goal was number 100 for him in an Inter shirt.

The Argentine was not done yet. At 1-1, a cross inside the penalty area and it was a volley by Lautaro who scored the goal which would give Inter the Coppa Italia win.

Now on 27 club goals this season, that is the most Lautaro has ever scored in a single season.

Joaquín Correa would be brought on as a substitute for Inter while Lucas Martínez Quarta would start for Fiorentina.
