Federico Redondo was one of the best players on the pitch during the Copa Libertadores match between Argentinos Juniors and Fluminense. The Argentine ended with 86 touches, the most with also having the most interceptions with three.

He won the most duels with seven and had the most recoveries with eleven. The 20 year old continues to be one of the best talents in Argentina.

Manuel Lanzini will be returning to River Plate with club president Jorge Brito confirming it.

Lanzini will be coming back to his childhood club after a 10 year exit. Club president Jorge Brito spoke to ESPN Argentina on Wednesday where he confirmed that he will be returning.

The 30 year old joined Fluminense on loan from River Plate back in 2011 and would leave for Al Jazira in 2014 for two seasons. During his two seasons at the club, he spent one on loan at West Ham United and in 2016 he would join West Ham on a permanent deal.

He would win three trophies with Fluminense and the UEFA Europa Conference League with West Ham last season.

Lionel Messi broke a jersey sales record, overtaking Cristiano Ronaldo, Tom Brady and LeBron James.

Messi continues to break records both on and off the pitch. According to ESPN FC via Fanatics, the first 24 hours of Lionel Messi Inter Miami jersey sales were the best 24 hours of any players who changed teams across all sports.

Per the report, Messi overtook the following players:

Cristiano Ronaldo joining Manchester United in 2021, Tom Brady joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020 and LeBron James joining the LA Lakers in 2018.

Alejo Véliz is close to joining Tottenham Hotspur from Rosario Central.

Véliz could soon be joining Cristian Romero at Tottenham Hotspur. According to César Luis Merlo, talks are advanced and Tottenham could be getting their player. Per a separate report by Gustavo Yarroch, the price is expected to be for $15 million.

The 19 year old striker scored three goals in four matches with the Argentina U20 national team at the U20 World Cup.
