Alejandro Garnacho left Old Trafford on crutches and a protective boot.

Garnacho was brought on as a substitute for Manchester United and was on the receiving end of a tackle. Mark Critchley tweeted out a picture of Garnacho leaving the stadium on crutches and in a protective boot after the match. Per Critchley, Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag stated the following:

“He was limping a little bit after the bad tackle. They brought on another striker and I didn’t want to take a risk. We were already down to 10 and with one player who is maybe 90%. That’s why I took him off but I think it’s not too bad.”

The Argentina national team play two matches in March, their first on March 23 against Panama. Garnacho has been called up to the team for both matches.
