The 24 year old could get some minutes for Argentina in their matches against Venezuela and Puerto Rico. According to Diego Monroig, he could make his debut in the two matches.
Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni had included José Manuel López in the team for the September World Cup qualifiers but he did not play in the matches.

With the score at 2-2, Aníbal Moreno crossed the ball into the penalty area and Ramón Sosa scored to give Palmeiras the 3-2 lead.

The Argentina U20 national team will play Nigeria at the U20 World Cup.
Diego Placente’s team finished first in their group and will play Nigeria in the Round of 16 in Chile. Nigeria finished third in their group behind Norway and Colombia.
Argentina won all three matches in the group, first a 3-1 win against Cuba, followed by a 4-1 win against Australia and a 1-0 win against Italy in their last match. Argentina will play Nigeria on Wednesday.

Fernández, Romero and Senesi are the first three players to arrive in Miami for Argentina’s friendly match against Venezuela. The Premier League trio arrived on Sunday and Lionel Scaloni will have the team train on Monday.
The Argentina national team will play Venezuela on October 10 in Miami and on October 14 will play Puerto Rico in Chicago.
