Diego SIMEONE could be shortnening his Atletico Madrid contract, according to Marca.
The newspaper Marca in Spain is reporting that the Atletico Madrid boss and the club have agreed to shorten his contract. SIMEONE’s current contract expires in 2020 but the report states that they have agreed to shorten it to 2018. There have been rumors in the media for quiet some time that his next destination would be to Italy to coach his former club Inter. However, judging by the past summer (and even before that), there are several Argentina fans who would like to see him coach the National Team.

i would love to see simeone AFTER 2018! Because right now stability is what the team needs the most so let’s give Bauze a chance to impress.
Lets HOPE this current manger is the answer so we don’t have to go looking for other…..for a change!
If he is available after 2018 world cup and Bauza needs to be replaced, then Simeone should be considered. But if we do well in Russia (considering we qualify!), then our current coach should continue.
If he can be tactically flexible, he would be a great option for the NT.
