Erik LAMELA, Manuel LANZINI (with LANZINI scoring an absolute beauty) and Lucas ALARIO all scored twice.
It was a day of goals in the English Premier League as Erik LAMELA scored twice (forced a third off a deflection) in Tottenham’s 5-4 win against Leicester City. The first goal coming in the 49th minute, a tap in from close range. The second goal (while not given to LAMELA) was a massively deflected goal. The third being very similar to the first as it also came from close range.
Manuel LANZINI also scored twice for his club West Ham in a 3-1 win against Everton. LANZINI’s first goal coming from the edge of the area. The second goal was a curler of a striker. From the goalkeeper’s right on the edge of the area, LANZINI curled one in for West Ham’s third.
Lucas ALARIO scored two times on Saturday, two very different goals. The first coming from a nearly impossible angle, from the right side of the goalkeeper into the top net. A fabulous strike by the former River Plate man. The second goal saw ALARIO pounce on a bad back pass as he rounded the goalkeeper and scored.
