Roberto PEREYRA has kicked off the English Premier League season in style scoring two great goals in a 2-0 win against Brighton.

Roberto PEREYRA who scored just five goals in all of last season in the Premier League already bagged two on the first day of the season, one of which is a goal of the season candidate. Watford were awarded a corner kick in the 35th minute, a cross sent in found the former River Plate man’s right foot and a volley into the back of the net gave Watford the lead.

An absolutely wonderful goal to kick start his season was followed by a second just nine minutes after the break. PEREYRA received the ball on the edge of the penalty area as he cut in from the goalkeeper’s right and beat him from a tight angle.

As mentioned in our Argentine’s in the English Premier League season preview, PEREYRA is one of the players who can find himself back into the Argentina squad with proper form.

One of the very Few players TATA MARTINO introduced to the NT, If we look back TATA brought in players like Pereyra, Mori, Agusto, Lamela, Mercado, Otamendi and Pastore(both was re introduced and got reasonable playing time under TATA). We had played some of the best football during the Copa 2016. Have to agree that. But still i think he wasted so many friendlies in testing other youngsters. Like Dybala, Icardi, etc etc. His fault was, he sticked with the World Cup 2014 squad for too long. That continued and continued by Bauza and Sampa till 2018. Goshhh.If we look Back Romero as the undisputed starting Goal keeper for 8 Years, 8 Years Damitttt he could have played 3 Freaking World Cups had not for that injury(It could have been better for us by the way) that itself shows about our Coaches reluctancy to try New Players.

  6. Good player, he was a revelation in juventus and then his injuries began to rear their ugly head and was lost in the shuffle.
    Lets hope he continues with this form because he can be a very useful player the NT.

    • Good fucking Christ no he isn’t. I’m not doubting Martinez but show some patience. Higuain has played for top euro clubs averaging 20+ goal per season for a long time now. He even broke the 60 year seriea a record for most goal under napoli. No comparison at the present moment

    • Pererya, lamela, lanzini. All 3 can be grafted into playing 11 or 23 anyday. But they r so injury prone like gago we just can’t depend on them. Look at them as bonuses to include when physically fit.
