  1. Rulli is the best Argentina GK without a doubt only facing bad phase of his career last year just like De Gea

  2. He had legit talent but thanks to sociadad’s incredibly leaky defense and overall structure he conceded the most goals in la liga last season and now hi confidence is shattered and his decision making is suspect at best. On the positive side his ball delivery is one of the best but that in itself isn’t good enough.
Gazzaniga is more consistent but doesn’t play regularly while Musso has given good performances but his ball delivery is average at best. That leaves the one and only Walter Benitez, who I’ve been following at Nice for last 5 months or so and I can say with confidence that he is presently playing at a world class level!! Now I’m not calling him world class just yet and will have to wait until the end of the season to assess his overall performance but if Copa was starting tomorrow then Benitez is a no.1 no brainer.

  3. His biggest problem is consistency. He has talent and we have seen that before, but he doesn’t show up when we need him. But nevertheless, it was a fantastic game for him.

  4. Rulli if you want to succeed something like that you should prove in very soon period of time
that you are better than Romero and Armani but as i have see till now you are not.
so keep dreaming and work hard..
today we are speaking you don t deserve to be not even in 23 squad.
    how much more for starter.

  5. Rulli? No thanks!

Just because he kept a clean sheet against Real Madrid?
So did Sevilla’s Tomáš Vaclík (SEV 3-0 RM), CSKA’s Moscow’s Igor Akinfeev (CSK 4-0 RM agg), Atletico Madrid’s Oblak (ATM 0-0 RM), Alaves’ Fernando Pacheco Flores (ALA 1-0 RM), Eibar’s Asier Riesgo (EIB 3-0 RM),
And you don’t see people going crazy about those keepers.
Real is in a slump, and even Barcelona’s 5-1 result against them is not a good indicator of how good the other team is.

Have him keep a clean sheet against Sevilla, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Athletic Club then I’ll be impressed. Teams in form, not teams in a slump.

  6. “Well, to play in copa you have to avoid silly mistakes. agreed that you played really well against RM but errors in three consequtive games lost you your starting position in real sociedad”

  7. I had high hopes for him but he let us down lately. If he regains form and continues to perform well consistently then he should be part of the team.

    • Enganche: i totally agree on rulli, i also had high hopes for him but atm hes not worthy of a place in the squad.
Gazza is having another great game today (a clean sheet and a couple of very good saves)and i have high hopes for him, he is pushing lloris for a starting spot at Tottenham and some spurs fans want to see him over Lloris, it will happen sooner rather then later if his form keep up.
