Paulo DYBALA scores first Serie A goal for Juventus since November

A first goal in Serie A since November for Paulo DYBALA for Juventus in their 3-0 win against Frosinone.

In a statistic which may be hard to believe, the Argentine scored for the first time in 2019 in the league. A thunderous shot from outside of the penalty area just six minutes into the match made it 1-0 for Juventus. The reigning Serie A champions would go on to add two more goals.

That goal was only his eighth in 29 matches in all competitions this season. Speaking with Sky Sport Italia, Juventus coach Massimiliano ALLEGRI had this to say about DYBALA:

“I’m happy for Paulo. He scored a good goal and forwards live for that. We need a player who works between the lines, even more so this year as we play with two strikers as well as him.

“This has maybe limited him a little in terms of finishing, but not in terms of the matches and his performances.”

  1. Watched Barca game, I didn’t even know they signed Boateng to use him as fwd. I’ll love to see an Argentinian player in this role, like Dybala, Icardi, Gaich or Lautaro. I am not so bullish for their qualification against Lyon. This Barca is too much relied on Messi. Apart from him only Dembele can make difference from time to time. The rest is too static. Lyon with players individually less talented but more energetic and faster transition, will cause them a lot of troubles.

  2. I love Paulo, but I hate Allegri. He doesn’t care about any of his players. He used Paulo and now he buys Ronaldo and puts Paulo away. I hope he gets sacked and dies!

  3. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while.
I was a big fan of his, I still root for him. But if you look at his play over the last couple of seasons there is A LOT of room to improve. Let’s hope this is a start

    • Good god, exaggerating abit aren’t ya?
True that this ain’t Dybala’s best season but lets not forget that he is by far the best player for Juve in the CL thus far and if it wasn’t for Ronald’s selfishness he would be joint top scorer with Messi in the competition.
The kid’s early years in Palermo were boarderline disastrous but he turned things around so let’s not treat him like a has-been so soon.

    • He’s dropped off this year but prior He’s done really well and is consistent

      2015/2016 – 22 Goals 9 Assists
      2014/2015 – 14 Goals 8 Assisyes

Juve fans love and he’s been one of their best players over the last few years. he’s also largely regarded as one of the best players in serie a.
