  1. 2 days, 2 wins over the yellow team. Don’t know why Batista does not start with players like Gaich, Valenzuela who are obvious starters

    • Not in the strongest team, next to Lautaro, Nicolas Gonzalez, Palacios, Macallister, Lisandro Martinez, Nico Dominguez, Foyth, Romero, Montiel, Nehuen Perez, maybe Robertone, Zaracho, Ascacibar and Vargas. Brazil have players in this category as Gabriel Jesus, David Neres, Vinicius, Rodrygo, Richarlison, Paqueta, Eder Militao, Malcom.

  2. My final squad for Copa 2020:
    GK: Armani, Marchesin, Andrada
Defense: Foyth, Saravia, Tagliafico, Acuna, Martinez Quarta, Otamendi, Pezzella, Kanneman
Midfield: Paredes, De Paul, Lo Celso, Palacios, Nico Dominguez/Guido, Nico Gonzalez/Di Maria
Foward: Messi, Dybala, Aguero, Lautaro, Alario, Ocampos

  3. Cambezes, Barco and Capaldo are best so far IMO. Batista is changing players every game so we lack collective sense. Would like to see Gaich, Robertone, Vargas/Valenzuela in second half

  4. The mentioned names are Scalonis’s final selection for Copa2020 & 2022WCQ. I think Dybala will be playing in starting 11 replacing Ocampos which makes more sense for me,

Parades has a leadership personality and he can easily show and play this role in every argument with the referee. The boy got talents in far distance shots and aggression in ball interceptions . I’m against judging him bad, however he needs a proper replacement in case of injury and that’s what currently worries me as Scaloni hasn’t tried different name in this position, same problem with De Paul. Hope we can come up with a positive scoresheet as this game is very important to us at this time of the year. I think this would be the last game before the 2022WCQ

  5. In Every formation Scaloni puts up. The midfield starts with Paredes(Nowadays De Paul too) If I m not wrong Paredes is the one who played most of the games under Scaloni. He does seems to see something in Paredes which suits his system. May be breaking the lines. I haven’t seen that many defence splitting passes or that much creativity nor that much of a defencive ability (Ala Mascherano) but he offers something. He dosnt need to be a destroyer like Masche. He is Paredes, he does what Scaloni wants him to be. Weather we like him or not Scaloni favors him. That’s what matters.

Hope he keeps on putting good performances along with the team. And improve.

One thing is for sure no players can satisfy fans. Every fan will have their own favorite player. They will clamor for that particular player. If a fan becomes a coach it will be like Playstation football. No coach can satisfy a fan. So that’s that. Let’s keep on improving as a unit. No matter who plays. But I still don’t wanna see Di amria again 😅😅😅

  6. Some people needs to recheck their footballing standards. This is “actual association football” not “fantasy playstation football”. I don’t know which team Csabalala, Mrinal and their kindred spirits support and I can hardly think of any on this planet. Maybe somewhere far away or in another galaxy they might. But not in this world, with their deluded high standards. But they never watch football and have zero understanding of the game, so all of that is irrelevant in the first place. Still talking rubbish about the Superclasico like it’s a “friendly”..!

I don’t get. Why there is somewhat of an irrational criticism of Paredes? Yes sometimes he needs to show more defensive nous even if it’s not his game. But this constant bashing of his creative contribution is bollocks for me. He’s doing well. You can’t expect hollywood passes and other long or short defense splitting passes every second from him like it’s “fantasy utopian football”. Some needs to get hold of that fact.

PS: We would be having a different conversation about Paredes if his effort from outside the box on friday had went in! Like all the other spectacular long range missiles that came off his gifted right foot in the previous games. Remember the Copa 2019 semifinal, superclasico?? That was an almighty wonder strike from half way down the mark which went inches above Brasil’s bar. Alisson or any keeper in this world would be saving that if it was couple of inches below!
Remember the Colombia game in the same Copa America??
Not only just goal efforts, but his passes, setpiece deliveries, holding off the ball and controlling tempo of team’s play is gone unnoticed. His leadership qualities is also overlooked. He’s one of the leaders in this team undoubtedly for me without the armband!
